About Brenton Dearing

It has been Brenton's life-long dream to be a businessman, speaker and writer. From the humble beginnings of a being on the free lunch program at school as a child and starting his first paper route business at age 10 1/2, Brenton has now run businesses and helped with non-profit organizations for over 35 years.
Here are some pivotal experiences that have propelled Brenton's transformation:
  • Being raised by parents who were pastors from before his birth until he was 17 years old - Thank you Francis & Ruth Dearing!
  • Being mentored by Jim Parham in high school to become an Eagle Scout and begin living by the Scout Oath & Law.
  • Being mentored by faculty and professors at Evangel University 
  • Being trained 4 years in the student internship selling books door-to-door for Thomas Nelson Publishers - Varsity Internship Program. 
  • Being the former Director of Your Money Counts at Grace Church - St. Louis (we trained over a thousand people in the Crown Biblical Financial principles).
  • Being on the team to train facilitators for Crown Financial in St. Louis as well as around Missouri and Illinois. 
  • Facilitating financial classes: Master Your Money, Crown Financial, GoodSense Ministries, Financial Foundations and Financial Peace University.
  • Being mentored and coached by Dr. Tom Hill, attending/speaking at multiple Eagle Summits as well as hosting several of his programs in St. Louis. 
  • Being personally mentored for 7 years by the late, Brian Klemmer and hosting 10 of his experiential workshops in St. Louis. He also attended all stages of the Klemmer experiential workshops and was the first person selected to receive their honorary PhD in Leadership & Personal Development.  
  • Being mentored by Craig Hill and Elsie Hall through Family Foundations International. He attended every single small group course they offered, then helped on the ministry team to assist others.  This began a major heart transformation in 2008 that has continued to current. 
  • Being mentored by Dan Gibbons and hosting 5 Personal Success Institute (PSI) Basic Workshops in St. Louis. He also attended all of the stages of the PSI experiential workshops. 
  • Being mentored by Cheryl Scanlan through coaching certification as well as attending the program she created called Promised Land Living. 
  • Being part of a band of brothers who serve the Lord and encourage one another to sharpen others as well as be sharpened.

There are many other examples as well, yet you get the idea that was implanted in him beginning March 2000 by the late, Jim Rohn. He said, "Work harder on yourself, than you do on your job. If you just work hard on your job, you can make a living. If you also work hard on yourself (improving your skills and abilities), you can make a fortune. 

Brenton is thankful to be investing in others in order to make a significant difference for the future.
